​Angelita's Room

Even though eight year old Angelita is confined to a wheelchair and has had to make many life adjustments, she is a spunky, joyful little girl. And watching her navigate in her electric wheelchair is amazing! Because she needs accessible space, her family recently renovated their home to accommodate her wheelchair and allow her to access all parts of the house including, of course, her bedroom. But... it still didn’t meet the “fun, imaginative” requirement. So, Room For Joy stepped in to add the magic to Angelita’s new room. She loves the color purple and asked for a “girly, sparkly, diva” room. We took up the challenge and glittered and sparkled her entire space! We hope she will get years of enjoyment out of her new “diva den”. ​
