13-year old Kaylee is quite an extraordinary young lady! While in the hospital receiving treatment for a serious medical condition, she taught herself to play multiple musical instruments. One of her favorites is the ukulele. She asked to have a room focused on her love of music as well as her favorite colors; pastel pink and gold. She also needed storage and desk space. Dwight built a custom loft bed for her, with a beautiful desk and bookshelves underneath. Ray created a piano keyboard valance and 3-D music notes to go above her closet! Mike also constructed a pretty coordinating piano stand for her keyboard. The room wouldn’t be complete without giving tribute to her love of ukulele’s, so, we created a “wall of ukulele’s” for her. We know she will bring music and light to anyone privileged enough to hear her sing and play. ​
