Adventure on the High Seas 2016

​Room For Joy’s first Annual Fundraising event was held on Saturday, June 11, 2016. We are so excited to report that over $20,000 was raised! A murder mystery play was provided by Short and Sweet Entertainment. The theme was a cruise ship and the actors engaged the audience by encouraging them to help solve the mystery and providing lots of laughs. A great Mexican food dinner was provided by Chef Christopher of Zone Diet Solutions. The “Tablescape” competition was a lot of fun! More than 20 table hostesses competed for a first prize getaway weekend package. Many of their guests showed up in costume in support of their table theme. First prize went to Lynn Bradburn’s “Sand Castle” themed table. Second place went to Melissa Davis’s “Hollywood” table and third place was won by Karen Wyman and Cindy Rush’s “Mad Hatter” table theme. The competition was tough! Thank you to all who participated.
