Bryson is a mature 16 year old who loves music and culture from the 1960's! He collects vintage albums and was looking forward to having his own record player in his room. Bryson has Philadelphia positive B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia and although after going through extensive treatment and being in remission, the treatment caused Avascular Necrosis in both knees. He will require surgery soon and will be spending even more time in his room. To make his room more accessible, we replaced the carpeting with vinyl plank flooring from JR McDade, to make it easier for him to navigate during recovery. Because of his extensive collection of record albums, he definitely needed more storage, so Mike built super cool record storage cases that look like speakers. Andrea created a "one of a kind" art creation with vintage sheet music, vintage comic books and lots of cool colors and textures! Her very talented husband Jeremie sat down and drew caricatures of some of the music icons of the 60's. Ray combined his wood-working skills and artistic talent to create the woody car for Bryson's wall...complete with LED lighting! And, to help create more space and additional storage, the great team from Dream Closets, provided and installed a custom closet system. We hope Bryson has a quick recovery from surgery and enjoys his groovy room for years to come!
