Yeira's Room

​8 year old Yeira is diagnosed with Lymphedema, Intestinal Lymphangectasia, Hypothyroidism, Hypoprotienemia and a heart murmur. Despite her multiple physical challenges she goes to school, plays barbies with her friends, and she loves Beauty and the Beast! Our Room For Joy team wanted to help her imagine she was part of the ballroom scene in the movie. The chandelier, custom faux marble columns and blue silk swags helped create the atmosphere. Then Roger, one of our artists, custom painted a bed fit for a princess. Ray, another artist, created replicas of Cogsworth and Lumiere. Courtney, one of our designers, created the beautiful bedspread and sham to simulate an elegant ballgown. And finally, Dwight and Greg, our master carpenters, built a life- sized replica of
