Brock's Room

Brock is a quiet, courageous young man. He is also an avid Harry Potter fan! He is battling multiple medical conditions including Mitochondrial Disease, HLH, an Immune Deficiency and recently diagnosed Heart Failure. Despite his challenges, he is sweet and well-spoken. When we met with him to talk about his wishes for his room makeover, he focused on all things "Harry Potter". So, once again, our team went to work to create a fun, imaginative HP- inspired room for him. Ray built awesome custom "castle walls" as well as a specialized wall case for his brother's air guns and a Hogwarts wall plaque at the head of Brock's bed. Crystal and Sonny painted a very cool moonlit night ceiling mural and Tyler and Kerstyn created "aged books" that became wall shelves. Since Brock shares his room with one of his brothers, Dream Closets helped out once again by installing a custom closet for them with lots of storage. There were many tasks involved in renovating Brock's room and as always, we couldn't do it without our loyal volunteers! Thank you to Darci, Abby, Mike, Bob, Tony, Andrew, Harold, Ruben, Mirna and Roger!! We appreciate you! We will be praying for Brock's health and trust that each time he walks into his new room, he will know how much God loves him.
